SolarSeal PV Surface Overlay System™
Based on our SolarSeal Technology™ design and manufactured by the T.Clear Corporation under an exclusive product technology license. The T.Clear Corporation combines their well known T.Clear LightGuard® and HeavyGuard® Protected Membrane Roof (PMR) insulation panels with a new composite surfaced solar module design. Laminated directly onto the T.Clear insulated panel, the T.Clear solar module is built on a corrugated metal-polymer composite panel, engineered to cool the high efficiency crystalline silicon cells and sealed with a new advanced polymer top surface.
The T.Clear Solar LightGuard and Solar HeavyGuard Protected Membrane Roof (PMR) insulation panels have all the advantages of the standard T.Clear PMR system while producing clean renewable energy from the sun. Environment-friendly and a sustainable roof system, placing the T.Clear Solar LG insulation roof panels over the roof system protects the roof membrane by maintaining a nearly constant temperature, reducing the harmful effects of freeze-thaw cycling, exposure to harsh UV, reducing heating and cooling cost and extending the service life of the protected roof membrane system.
Developed as a plug-&-play system, the T.Clear Solar PMR System uses standard roofing trade practices and is simple to install over any roof surface. T.Clear Solar PMR can be disassembled if the need arises and transported to a new host site. The non-permanent attachment feature and the ability to relocate the modules to a new host site make T.Clear Solar PMR an excellent choice for power-purchase agreements and capital leases.
Warehoused until needed, the T.Clear Solar PRM system becomes a transportable, ground-mounted, recyclable solar power generation system government agencies and corporations set-up as a temporary portable emergency solar power source or a transportable stand- alone solar powered system for remote site locations and forward military bases
Building owners with existing T.Clear PMR roof installations can convert their roofs into a new solar roof using the T.Clear “PV Field Module” without having to modify the existing roof system and disrupt the facility’s normal operations. The T.Clear “PV Field Module” bonds directly to the existing standard T.Clear PMR insulated panel using a fast setting advanced panel adhesive and sealant.
