SolarSeal PV Magnetic System ™
The SolarSeal PV Magnetic Systems™ is designed for metal roofs and for vertical construction surfaces including metal, glass, concrete and composite insulated building panels. SolarSeal PV Magnetics remain attached to the metal roof for the service life of the PV array or when the need arises can be rolled-up and recycled to a new host site. Being able to relocate the SolarSeal PV Magnetic System™, makes SolarSeal perfect for capital leases, tax-exempt leases and power-purchase agreement projects with public agencies, schools, institutions and commercial owners where a non-permanent array mount is desirable.
If needed, upon the termination of the first lease or PPA contract, the SolarSeal PV Magnetic Systems™ array can be removed and transported to a new host site.
If the building use or building ownership changes, the SolarSeal PV Magnetic Systems™ array can be removed and relocated to another host site.
Should the lessee default, the lessor has the means to take back possession of the array and relocate the SolarSeal PV Magnetic Systems™ PV array to a new host location.
In the future, array replacement with newer lower cost and higher efficiency photovoltaic modules is simple, you can easily swap out the older generation PV modules, creating new profitable future options in PPA and lease contracting.
When the capital lease or PPA contract ends, the SolarSeal PV Magnetic Systems™ array modules can be sold in the secondary solar module market, extracting additional residual value out of the old modules for the lease or PPA owner.
When a photovoltaic module fails and some will, the broken PV module is easy to replace.
SolarSeal PV Magnetic Systems™ is the simple construction solution, fast roll out on both the magnetic membrane and PV flexible laminate modules, creating a highly competitive, low cost solar array specifically designed for the BIPV capital leases and Power Purchase Agreement markets.
Using adhesive back surfaced magnetic membranes, the SolarSeal PV Magnetic System can be applied to non-magnetic surfaces. High energy magnets membrane with special belt-&-suspender design elements creates removable array that can perform in high winds, with no blow offs.
